Digital 3D Modeling and visualisation are similar to an artistic traditional art piece - you can see recognizable likenesses of the model but they are not identical to it. The technique and materials change the whole appearance of the model in question. On the other hand, the three-dimensional rendering gives the most realistic visual information about a future object at the design stage. Rendering requires a lot of details, texture, and color decisions. As a result, the design in the end becomes more predictable. Renderings are very usable for such purposes as advertisement and presentations.
Given example have done in Google Sketch Up, for others works used Architectural Desktop 3.3 from Autodesk and Adobe Photoshop Elements.
